Event Details

Paying for college is a big concern, and it all starts with the FAFSA. In this one-hour workshop, you will learn how the financial aid process works, how to fill out the online FAFSA application, when to apply, and where you can go for help when filling it out. (A second workshop on scholarships will be held on Saturday, October 26 at 11 a.m.)

Instructor Marilyn van Löben Sels is a certified college counselor with over 20 years of experience helping students and their families with the college application process. She has been presenting college workshops since the library opened in 2010.

Registration is required as space is limited; you may register at the front desk or by visiting saclibrary.org (fill out the form on the left).

This free workshop is sponsored by the Pocket-Greenhaven Friends of the Library.
