Scholarships are a great way to help pay for college, but where do you find them? How do you apply? In this one-hour workshop, you will learn how to do a scholarship search and to apply for those that are a good match for you, how to get organized, write convincing scholarship essays, and recognize scams. Parents will also learn how they can help and support their students throughout the process.

Instructor Marilyn van Löben Sels is a certified college counselor with over 20 years of experience helping students and their families with the college application process. She has been presenting college workshops ever since the library opened in 2010.
