Author Meg Waite Clayton comes to the Sacramento Public Library as a stop on her national book tour for her new novel, The Last Train to London. 
The Last Train to London is an absolutely fascinating, beautifully rendered story of love, loss and heroism in the dark days leading up to World War II. It is a glowing portrait of women rising up against impossible odds to save children.

Meg Waite Clayton is a New York Times bestselling author of six novels. She writes 'Listening In', a monthly audiobook column for the San Francisco Chronicle, and has written for the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Washington Post and public radio.
