Learn fundamental techniques for stovetop cooking including sauté, pan fry, searing, sweating, simmering and boiling. This demonstration uses the library’s new induction cooktops , which are available for checkout through the Library of Things. Induction cooktops offer the same results as gas or standard electric stovetops while offering superior heat control, easy clean-up and a smaller carbon footprint.
