Want to play chess with others? Drop by for the First and Last Tuesday every month for free, informal, fun chess playing. Some teaching available from a volunteer. All Ages Welcome starting at 7 years of age. Chess is often part of STEM or STEAM training. It builds math literacy and problem-solving skills. Links between chess and STEM-related areas include logical thinking, pattern recognition, analysis and synthesis, and strategic planning.
