Arcade Library turns 100 this year, and it is time for a party!

Hear remarks from Library Director Peter Coyl at noon, and Library Archivist James Scott will deliver a talk on the history of the branch and neighborhood at 12:30. Cake and juice will be served at 1:15. Get a face painting or balloon animal from the Pixie Tribe from 1:30-3:30. Finally, enjoy the magic of Jonathan Lopez at 4:00.

Reproductive Health Workshop: Understanding Cervical Cancer Prevention (Pashto)

What is a Pap smear test?
What happens if the Pap smear is abnormal?
What is the HPV vaccine and why should I get it?

Participants will learn about how to access health care and/or preventive services and how to obtain information on YouTube, internet searches, and the Sacramento Public Library collection. There will be time for Q&A.
