Event Details

Artist Alley with No Book Required Teen Book Club. Join us for a series of virtual events celebrating artists who work in the comic/graphic novel industry.

Special guest Samia Selene Fakih joins us on August 20th with a special presentation: How to find your art style.

Have you ever wanted to learn more about honing your own art style? Have you wondered where to begin? Through an interactive lecture followed by a Q&A, attendees will be taken through the basics of what makes up artistic style, from subject matter, to medium and execution. We will examine different art styles, explore different ways to practice a style, talk about effectively gathering inspiration, and more! Attendees will leave this workshop with the next steps they need to start exploring their own art styles

This virtual book club will meet on Zoom and will also be on Facebook and YouTube

Please use a personal, non-school account to email teen@saclibrary.org for the invitation and password for Zoom event.
