Event Details

Adult 101: Life Skills for Teens & Young Adults is a six-week workshop series for ages 16-24 focusing on six areas of core life skills to support the transition from teen to adulthood. The goal of this program is to help participants become more prepared and successful in their academic and professional pursuits.

Join us for this week’s session on Mental Health & Stress Management presented in partnership with Sacramento Youth Mental Health (SacYMH) and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Sacramento. SacYMH is a teen-led group who will cover destigmatizing mental health by facilitating meaningful conversations among young people, focusing on personal experiences and the impact they've had, strategies to be more aware of mental health in daily life, and ways to seek help and recognize what is needed. NAMI will focus on hands-on mindfulness and stress reduction tools and techniques so that you leave knowing what you can do in the moment to bring your stress down.

All participants will receive a stress relief fidget keychain and a digital certificate of completion.

Register for this virtual event.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
